Upside Down Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 small can of either pineapple rings or pears or apricot halves
- 2 table spoons of golden syrup or honey
- 100g self raising flour
- 100g soft margarine
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
Equipment
- large mixing bowl
- measuring jug
- wooden spoon
- tablespoon
- palette knife
- a 2 pint ovenproof (non metal) dish
Method
- Preheat oven gas mark 5 /190c
- Cover bottom of the dish with the honey or syrup
- Drain tin of fruit and arrange pattern on top of the honey or syrup
- Place margarine,sugar and self raising flour into the mixing bowl
- Break eggs into the bowl and mix together
- Carefully spread the mixture evenly over the fruit
- Microwave for 5 min and then bake for 10 – 15 mins in the oven until firm and golden.
