Last weekend saw the start of our ferret racing season.  It was slightly later than last year but it was worth the wait.  We had two great days at the Berkshire College of Agriculture, Burchetts Green near Maidenhead.  The weather was kind to us and we had a good attendance.

It was all too exciting for the ferrets who were worn out by Sunday afternoon.

And the winner is ...

Siobhan being presented with her award by the club chairwoman, Sally, for ‘Best Young Handler’ at the 2010 Show and Race day held by Hants and Berks Ferret Club.  This is the 2nd year that she was won the award and she is very pleased.  Thank you to Derek for supplying the photograph.
